the flapper dress

The Flapper dress i got yesterday has everything i could possibly ask for in a dress. It has sequins, fringe, pleating...it's just missing the bells and whistles. Surprisingly it does not look tacky taking into consideration all the things it has hanging from it. I've been waiting for this puppy to go on sale for a while, like before xmas. The Flapper dress will make a nice addition to my overly stuffed closet, if i can even find a place to put it. I can't even fathom where i am going to wear this, it is definitly not brownsville-going-out style. I am sure an occasion will come up...or i will just have to wait till halloween, i wanted to buy this for new years but it was still at regular price ($148...eeeek!)

so florida is gonna suck....

I hate cold weather with a passion. It is no surprise that when you plan something in advance something is bound to go wrong. Every morning i'd get up and check Isabella (my iphones name) to see the weather in florida for my trip and it started out sunny and now 2 days before a cold front decided to waltz on in...

Which is why i HAD to buy another couple of coats....

Sucky Picture quality i know but i took the pics with isabella. So one is for jeans (plaid) and one for dressy-type occasions. I have to admit it gave me an excuse to take advantage of the after winter sales so i'm happy.

I also had to get some small basics for my trip... i hate the whole less than 3 oz travel rule thing but i do love miniatures, i think they are cute.

I have to rep the LANCOME of couse :) The Huile Douceur, Bi-Facil, and Tonique Doucer are testers. I highly recomend you try these products for makeup removal though. I also had to take my Primordiale Serum which i did buy last weekend but did not write about. Its another great Lancome product that goes on before your moisturizer for softer, clearer skin. It protects from free radicals, helps with redness and pore size and also smells like white grape and vitamin C.

I also had to hunt down travel size SO SEXY hairspray from Victoria's Secret, and some bath and body works small lotion.

If all else fails at least i will be clean and smell good.

Florida trip is coming up soon! I am excited to go to Disney World and Universal Studios! I am even more excited to pack. Packing is a test of your skills because you can only pick a few things and you're stuck with them for the time of your stay. So for that trip today i bought:Cute Red Mary Jane Crocs at 37% of their retail price with store markdown and my associate discount. These will go great with:My Betsey Johnson anchor dress for one of the long days at a theme park. Not sure which one, Disney or Universal. Crocs will be comfortable for all day walking but i also want to look cute for all the souvenir pictures. *(i know i didn't buy this dress today but it goes with the crocs!)

I have been obsesed with this BCBGeneration dress since i first saw it and today i ran into it on sale! I paid 73% off the retail price which is the only way i would have bought this dress since i have nowhere to wear it to and about 5 other dresses waiting in line for a special occasion. In brownsville, there are very few occasions to wear really cute dresses to after high school. Most of the time i feel overdressed anyway so i guess i am used to it. Still it was a great bargain i couldn't pass up.

I like my money right where i can see it... hanging in my closet :)
