RUFFLES!

reason #6375 i don't shop at agaci
Cesar and I were having a lazy day on sunday and we went to the mall for ice cream and to walk around a bit. I saw these sandals at the agaci window and i had been wanting them since i saw them at aldo for 60. Well i went in and checked and they were 17.50 so i wanted to buy all 3 colors, black, gold and silver. But then....

I saw these silver ones which are really cute too. So i asked for ^ in gold and these in silver.
I walked out and forgot about the sandals until wednesday... I literally had the silver shoes on for 5 minutes around my house and the strap broke! Shoddy chinese manufacturing... (no pic available :( i tried but when i was going to the girl took them away)
I obviously was going to exchange them and its a good thing i looked in the other box, the other shoes were black instead of gold, so i had to exchange both pairs. That is an extra trip to the mall... I know im there everyday but just in my store, it doesn't mean i walk around the whole mall. PLUS, she returned them and then resold them instead of EXCHANGING them like i told her to so I have to wait until the 45 i paid for both pairs gets refunded into my account. My mom said not to make a big deal because its not like I don't have more money in my account or i need those $45 now....but its the principality of having to wait 3-5 days for your money to be available. I am never shopping there again unless they have something EXTREMELY cute.
extra discount days!

Gold and Silver Nail POLISH :)

A trip to sally's beauty supply is never complete without a new shade of nail polish. I originally wanted the Hello Kitty for MAC nail polish in On The Prowl which is a FLAT gray color. Marty's (my exwith commitment issues) last name is Gray so he always gets a a kick out of me wearing that color. The collection sold out right away so i didn't get my paws on any hello kitty MAC stuff. I did however go to Sally's and found a great metallic silver, i normally like flat color nail polishes but this was ok to substitute. I also found the China Glaze in Passion which is a gold tone polish. They just released it for summer i guess because it is the first time i see it and i am and avid polish shopper. I think the silver does have a great impact for "going out" look in peep toe shoes but the gold is more summer, beachy which i am excited about. I'm glad they released this color, it is kind of like Chanel's "Gold Fiction" polish that was released for a limited time in the fall, but does not cost $30. No one will know the difference, except everyone who reads this.

praying for just ONE more day of cold...
So there is a back story to this coat. I like to think all my clothes have their own story. Anyways, this adorable Betsey JOhnson coat was on display all thru the winter season and in went on sale in January. With a $300 price tag, i don't think so, unless it went on mega sale. Which it did. 70% off. YAY. The only thing is that someone purchased the only Medium the day it went on sale! I was depressed, angry, you name it. I am not a medium but i figured, who cares its a coat its not supposed to be fitted, plus Betsey Johnson clothing sizes come very reduced. There was only large left. I figured it was gone forever and i would have to wait for an awesome sale at the Betsey outlet to top that discount but one day i passed by and i saw the coat and i figured it was the large but them i saw this.
For those not familiar with Dillards, they put yellow pop (proof of purchase) labels when you buy something there. It is also a handy little system that saves all the information like purchase date, what you paid with and so on so if you lose your receipt they can still return it. Actually, now that i see it it's kind of stalkerish they have all that information.... But i digress, this coat had a pop label already which means someone returned it. So i ran to it in slow motion like in the movies but mainly because i can't run, and yes it was the lovely medium and someone had returned it. Apparently the sales lady told me that the woman who purchased it realized she needed a large. Quite honestly it pissed me off, she should have just tried it on and let me have me damn coat when it was still cold and i could have still used it this winter and i didn't wait 2 more weeks for her to try it on and realize she's too big for it. Not cool. But it did have a really cute detachable bow belt i can probably wear with a dress or something.

god i love my discount!
i have been wanting some deck shoes for a while now. Don't ask why or what i am going to wear them with, i just wanted them. Anyways, i had seen some cute ones in the children's shoe section but at $50 for something i don't need AND from the kids section, i wasn't having it. They magically went on sale for 70% off and i figured i should try them on, surprisingly i wear a little boys size 3.

the best shopping florida has to offer!
So if you are ever in the state of florida like i was last weekend and you find yourself in orlando, the PRIME 1 Outlets are the place to find ANYTHING you want on sale. With over 200 stores including Off 5th, Juicy Couture, 2b bebe, the north face, and a Victoria's Secret outlet, where every day is like a Semi-Annual sale (YAY!) you have to find something that suits your needs. The best part most of my favorite stores had great deals, this was like my rollercoaster which marty, (my ex i went on this trip to) was not too happy about. His idea of a fun day was at the theme parks, my idea of a great day was at the malls. Needless to say, i still made it to the Prime 1 Outlets one day and the Mall at Millenia another day, great thing marty is a bit of a shopper too.
Mall at millenia was a more "uppity" mall with tiffany's, chanel, dior, juicy and saks type stores. Got a 2 hearts necklace at tiffany's. Money saved $0...sad i know. Juicy had some great deals though a scarf i got was marked down from 98 to 29.99. It was cute even though i will probably wear it once a year with south texas weather.
I also went to Forever 21 which if you are a girl on a budget but want the latest trends you should definitly get to know. They offer basics to a higher priced line, can;t remember the name right now but there i got a sequined skirt which i had been looking for quite a while now. I had not found it locally so i am glad i looked. At $20, i think i could wear this with any simple tee and heels for a cute look.
I also found a replica Dolce and Gabbana lace dress that britney wore to some awards a long time ago, i know this is totally out of season but for $20 i couldn;t pass it up.
Also picked up 2 tshirts at Urban Outfitters. I love Urban but not enough to go on and on about it right now.
At the Outlets i went to Victoria's Secret (VS) outlet where EVERYTHING was on sale. There is only 4 VS outlets in the united states so seriously hit one up sometime. It is no secret to anyone that knows me that this is my favorite store! I shop so damn much at that store that they had some contest and i actually won $500 in dceember, i guess it pays to shop. So i picked up some things here and there, they had panties for 2.99, bras for 9.99 and sleepwear for 9.99 as well. The prices were amazing considering panties can go up to $24, bras up to $50 and sleepwear $50 to $70+ so yes they have awesome savings but i won't go any further into this one. No pics included for obvious reasons. haha.
Juicy Couture Outlet, my favorite everyday brand, had a buy one get one 1/2 off jewerly. Got 2 charms for $45 which is the average price of one.
Betsey Johnson (BJ), my favorite dress brand, had a huge rack of $25 pieces which is awesome because BJ has prices like $300 to $500 for a nice dress. Unfortunatly, there was nothing size 2 so i left empty handed.
2b bebe had $39 all dresses, nothing fit. boo.
I also got a couple other tops and accesories at other random stores but nothing major. I am glad i underpacked because i had to fit all the stuff i bought PLUS souvenirs PLUS some of Marty's clothes because he couldn't fit anything into his bag. I swear that boy packs like he is moving. I am not kidding he took maybe 15 tshirts for a 3 day trip and bought 5 more while over there. But i digress. happy shopping.
